What’s on Currently
Rumors From the Skies by Abdelkader Benchamma
Running from September 18, 2025, Rumors from the Skies is French artist Abdelkader Benchamma’s third solo show at the gallery. The exhibition features a new series of detailed ink drawings and an immersive wall installation exploring celestial phenomena and how myth, science, and superstition shape our view of the skies. Benchamma’s work blends the surreal and the scientific, creating dreamlike worlds that question how we understand space and time.
Personal Sea by Mahmoud El Safadi
Currently on view at Gallery Isabelle, Personal Sea (2025) features a series of miniature paintings by Mahmoud El Safadi that reflect on memory, inheritance, and the Mediterranean as a space of connection and loss. Through small, intimate works painted on playing cards, El Safadi revisits his grandfather’s journeys across the Eastern Mediterranean, turning the sea into a site where personal and historical narratives intertwine.
