firetti contemporary
Firetti Contemporary is one of those galleries that immediately stand out in Alserkal Avenue. Founded by Mara Firetti, it brings together artists from around the world who use their work to spark conversations about sustainability, identity, and social change. The shows here always feel intentional — thoughtful, creative, and rooted in ideas that matter.

I’m never coming back by Aidha Badr
On view from September 19 to November 7, 2025, I’m Never Coming Back is Aidha Badr’s latest solo exhibition presented by Firetti Contemporary and Hunna Art. Through intimate, diary-like paintings, Badr explores motherhood as quiet transformation — a shift in identity, tenderness, and time. Fragmented self-portraits and recurring images of horses reflect change and continuity, capturing the complex space between who we were and who we’re becoming.
